HALL OF FAME FOR RUDE PEOPLE IN JAZZ!!

Expect to read and hear a lot about the Hall of Fame of Mean People in Jazz. Mean people translates into Rude People.

Bruce GaitschPhotos from L to R: The first two members of the hall of fame of rude people in music; Hall of Fame of Mean People in Jazz, that is. #1. Judy Roberts, a tough cookie jazz singer from Chicago. #2. David Gaitsch from New York.

Mr. and Ms. Rude League

Judy Roberts is making enemies for stupid reasons. She has a big mouth. Because  -as she claims- she has been ripped off by so many people, Roberts does not  trust too many folks anymore. And that's fine, as long as Roberts stays cool and polite. But Roberts has become mean. She has been written up three times this week as mean, rude, suspicious, tough cookie. And that's bad for Roberts' career. One of the greatest assets of an artist is a friendly rapport with the public and the media. The World Jewish News Agency published a piece on Roberts. Here is how it goes "Judy Roberts is a jazz singer in Chicago who is alienating quite a few people in the music industry. And allegedly, she is the one who started the whole charade because of her suspicious nature, or previous unpleasant personal experience as she claims. Insiders told the World Jewish News Agency that Roberts' tough cookie side, not quite pleasant rapport with publishers and publicists, and her deep rooted suspicions about so many things have made writers and critics quite unhappy.' How about the other aspect of Judy Roberts? The artistic one, that is? Read what Nigel Huntington wrote in the latest edition of the International Herald Daily News "Judy Roberts' "The Other World" is not so good. In fact, it is deplorable, mediocre. Don't waste your time and money on this CD. I expected a better product from a professional singer who spent years working on her craft. Music could be a form of therapy. "The Other World" is just the opposite. It irritates you. Roberts' voice betrays the sensitivity of music. Rating: Forget it! Make a U turn. "The Other World" is our pick for the worst CD of the week." Read more about Ms. Roberts at: http://www.worldjewishnewsagency.org/music_apr_06.htm As to David Gaitsch, insiders told the World Art Celebrities Journal "Gaitsch  is not a sweet guy. This is the kind of a guy who returns your favor with an insult. Don't expect much from a person who uses words such Shi....and F..." So, Gaitsch too was selected and inducted in the hall of fame of rude people. So for now we have two characters: Judy "Tough Cookie" Roberts, the mean music machine and David "L.C." (Meaning Low Class) Gaitsch.

NOBODY READS YESTERDAY'S NEWS!

Sometimes, it requires the pen of a strong columnist to focus a spotlight on the career of a performer. No matter how famous an artist is,  that fame will dissipate, once a star or a singer is no longer in the news. If Dell and United Airlines keep on advertising their products and services on a  daily basis on 125 TV channels, it must be a reason why advertising and public relations are so vital for the continuous success of a product. Same thing applies to showbiz. Stars and singers who are no longer in tabloids, shows that are ignored by critics, and CDs known only to self released artists become yesterday' s news. And nobody read yesterday's news, as simple as that!
