BERLIN-GERMANY. Amazon Publishing Company in collaboration with Times Square Press in New York and London announced the new publication and release of an encyclopedia on a subject that haunted our minds for centuries: Are We Alone? The core of the book rotates around legitimate Ufologists and psychics, hypnotherapists and galactic civilizations researchers. The title is academic "Biographical Encyclopedia of People in Ufology and Scientific Extraterrestrial Research." This work is the product of the creative mind of author extraordinaire, Maximillien de Lafayette, known for his writings and essays on entertainment, art, comparative civilizations and history of world culture. The subtitle is equally impressive and goes like this "Leading Authorities, Scientists, Personalities and People Who Matter." I met Mr. de Lafayette in 1980, in Paris, when he was the editor-in-chief of World Art Celebrities Journal. We talked about so many subjects and flirted with philosophical ideas and artistic concepts, but never approached the subject of UFOs and extraterrestrials. A quarter of century later, Lafayette surprises millions of his readers with the publication of 9 books on "Aliens", and Ufologists!

The Anunnaki's Genetic Creation of the Human Race, by Maximillien de Lafayette.

According to insiders and to his entourage, De Lafayette's interest in the paranormal started longtime ago, when he began to study Sufism in Cairo, and the Mahayana Buddhism in India and Okinawa, Japan. It was reported that in 1979, De Lafayette was introduced to a secret society of learned thinkers in Cairo referred to as "The Ulemas". It is not a sect or an occult group. It is rather a society of scientists, and students of Asian philosophy, Medieval theology and parapsychology. This was then. And nothing came out of it until 2007, when all of a sudden, 9 of his books on UFOs, alien abduction and space/time travel were published in the United Kingdom, France and the United States. One book in particular "The Anunnaki's Genetic Creation of the Human Race" caught the attention of his readers. The book was published in January 2008, and apparently it is making waves. His most recent published work is "Biographical Encyclopedia of People in Ufology and Scientific Extraterrestrial Research."

Importance of this Encyclopedia and those who are in it

According to Shoshanna Rosenstein, a New York's syndicated columnist and one of the editors of the Encyclopedia, "this large first volume marks the beginning of a global and serious data and reference source on Ufologists to be taken seriously. Those who were written-up in the encyclopedia are legitimate Ufologists and researchers of these galactic phenomena...Only serious authors, writers, investigators and hypnotherapists were included." Carol Lexter, the senior editor of the encyclopedia said " Surf the Internet, and you will see zillions of so-called UFOlogists Do you know which one is real and which one is FAKE? Hard to find out, right? How would you know? Well, now you can, thanks to the "Biographical Encyclopedia of People in Ufology and Scientific Extraterrestrial Research." Any criteria for inclusion? Paris-based journalist Germaine Poitiers who worked on the Encyclopedia said "We could not squeeze in thousands and thousands of people...We determined that ONLY and ONLY the most credible ones should be included, based upon their published work, findings and status. I want to clarify one thing, we were very careful in the way we chose Ufologists and researchers. Preference was given to individuals with solid academic credentials, serious publications and genuine interest in Ufology. Yes, you could say this is the world's first and most authoritative source of reference on Ufologists..."

Carol Lexter: All the big names are in the Encyclopedia

"The importance of the Encyclopedia resides in the importance of scholars, scientists and researchers featured in the Encyclopedia. In other words, the Encyclopedia on one hand pays tribute to legitimate and accredited members of the UFOlogy community, and on another hand, it draws its power from the credibility and respected position of  genuine UFOlogists. There are no personal statements or favoritism, only accurate depiction of the accomplishments of serious people who proved themselves to be credible, honest and well-informed. You can call them "authority in the field" explained Carol Lexter.

Who is in and who was left out?

It is not so hard to find out. Browsing the table of contents of the encyclopedia leads the readers to illustrious and well-known figures and personalities in UFOlogy. Some of the most recognizable names are Al Bielek, Dr. William Birns, Dr. David Jacobs, Nancy Hayfield Birns, Vannevar Bush, Stan Friedman, Dr. Richard Boylan, Dr. Michael Salla, Barbara Lamb, Dr. Lynne Kitei, Dr. Carl Jung, Dr. Ellie Crystal, Budd Hopkins, Mary Rodwell, Jim Marrs, Dr. Bruce Maccabee, Dr. Roger Lier, etc...What's next on De Lafayette's agenda? He is currently working on 2 massive books; World Who's Who in Ufology and Extraterrestrial Studies, a 750 page compendium, and Thematic Encyclopedia of Ufology, a compilation of the informative and well-researched essays and articles by leading authorities in UFOlogy.

WORLD CULTURE, ART AND CIVILIZATION

HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE CIVILIZATION, ART, CULTURE AND HISTORY OF IRAQ?

By Maximillien de Lafayette,

Is it the proper time to talk about Iraqi art amidst the turbulent Iraq passage toward  new political and social metamorphoses?  Absolutely, for nations were initially born through the original expressions of individual and shared feelings, ideas, concepts and ideologies transmitted and illustrated through the medium of music, poetry and art. Equally true is the survival of nations and the preservation of their heritage, history and national pride through art in all its forms and styles. No country will ever survive if its art dies.

What’s left from the might and glorious past of Rome are not the centurions, the Roman saber or the military genius of Julius Cesar but, the temples, the frescoes, Via Apia, the Latin literature and the Roman law, in brief the Roman Art. What’s left from the illustrious history of the Egyptian civilization is not the military might of the Pharos, the bowed arch, the war chariots but, the pyramids of Gizah, the temples of Luxor, the art treasures, the tomb paintings and unsurpassed ancient Egyptian architecture. In other words, the Egyptian Art. What’s left from the fabulous Hellenistic culture and history is not the formidable “Water Fire” of their mighty naval forces, the swords and shields of the Macedonians or the  strategic genius of Alexander the Great but, the glorious temples of Athena, the Pantheons, the teachings of Sophocles, Aristotle, the superb Greek statues, and the magnificent Greek frescoes. In short, the Greek Art! Thus, it is always proper and necessary to talk about art, to nourish art and to protect art in order to revive and preserve a nation. Art is an immortal human necessity. If art never existed, humanity would have not lasted throughout centuries. Politicians, strategists, diplomats and urban architects are working on re-building Iraq. And that’s is fine. But, without preserving the modern art of Iraq, this glorious country will never survive. I hope the present work will shed light on the glorious artistic heritage of Iraq, the good nature of the Iraqis, the nobility of their traditions and unsurpassed contributions to the world civilization and Western modern thought.

People: Almost 75% of Iraq's population live in the flat, alluvial plain stretching southeast toward Baghdad and Basrah to the Persian Gulf. The Tigris and Euphrates Rivers carry about 70 million cubic meters of silt annually to the delta. Known in ancient times as Mesopotamia, the region is the legendary locale of the Garden of Eden. The ruins of Ur, Babylon, and other ancient cities are here. Iraq's two largest ethnic groups are Arabs and Kurds. Other distinct groups are Turkomans, Chaldeans, Assyrians, Iranians, Lurs, and Armenians. Arabic is the most commonly spoken language. Kurdish is spoken in the north, and English is the most commonly spoken Western language. Most Iraqi Muslims are members of the Shi'a sect, but there is a large Sunni population as well, made up of both Arabs and Kurds. Small communities of Christians, Mandaeans, and Yezidis also exist. Most Kurds are Sunni Muslim but differ from their Arab neighbors in language, dress, and customs.
